WHAT IS COVERED BY COLLISION INSURANCE?
Collision insurance covers the cost of repairing or replacing your car if it is damaged as a result of:
An accident involving another car
A collision with a stationary object, such as a fence or a tree.
A single-car collision in which the vehicle rolls or overturns.
WHAT DOESN'T COLLISION INSURANCE COVER?
The following items are not covered by collision insurance:
Damage to your vehicle caused by something other than driving (examples: hail or theft)
Damage to someone else's vehicle
Medical costs (either yours or someone else's)
DEDUCTIBLES AND LIMITS FOR COLLISION COVERAGE
A deductible is the amount you pay before your collision coverage kicks in to help pay for your claim. When you acquire collision coverage, you can usually determine the amount of your deductible.
